Congratulations to all of our member clubs and teams who attended the presentation nights this week, we hope you enjoyed them as much as we did! 

We are inviting all club secretaries; chairmen and individual team managers/coaches to the AGM on 14th July at the Council Chambers, Matlock; where we will review the current season and unveil a few plans for next year. 

It has been our pleasure to administer your RDYFL this season and we are incredibly excited for the next!

Registration Process for 2016/17 -TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLUB SECRETARY ONLY ..........

This will be a 2 stage process as has been the norm in recent years:

Stage 1   4 June 2016 – 30th June 2016 (Standard League Fees Apply)

NO LOGIN IS REQURED TO ENTER STAGE 1 – ONLY SECRETARIES SHOULD ENTER THIS INFORMATION

For existing and new clubs whose teams wish to play in the Rowsley & District Youth Football League during the 2016/17 season, the club Secretary is required to register ELECTRONICALLY on the RDYFL website , including club officer contact information and an indication by age group of the number of teams they wish to enter for Season 2016/17 e.g.

Club ABC Wanderers

U7          x 2          U11        x 1
U8          x 2          U12        x 1
U9          x 1          etc etc
U10        x 1 

Nothing else is required at this stage, no managers names – no team addresses – no team pitches – no team contact details – JUST NUMBER OF TEAMS BY AGE GROUP.

THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 30th JUNE 2014

** PLEASE NOTE - YOUR 2016/17 TEAMS WILL NOT SHOW IN THE RDYFL WEBSITE UNTIL AFTER THE 2016/17 CONSTITUTION OF DIVISIONS HAS BEEN FINALISED AT THE AUGUST MEETING **

RDYFL Presentation Nights - 9th & 10th June 201620/05/16 10:03AM

Congratulations to the league winners and runners up for the 2015/16 season.

Presentations of individual trophies will take place at the Alfreton Bowls Hall (next to Alfreton Leisure Centre) for teams winning or coming runners up in their division. 

Under 7s - Under 11s - Thursday 9th June 2016

Under 12s - Under 18s - Friday 10th June 2016

The presentations will commence at 7.30pm and teams should aim to arrive around 6.45pm.   Although we have spread the ceremonies over two evenings, car parking space is at a premium, and I would therefore recommend car sharing as this will ease the pressure and allow you a more relaxed entry to the event.

Entry Fee : Adults £2.00 on the door to cover costs, players and children under 16 free.

New Clubs signing up to RDYFL next season.....05/05/16 10:28AM

Your RDYFL is delighted to bring news of three new clubs joining us next season and we are in negotiations with a fourth. This will in turn lead to an increase in teams and a more competitive and exciting future for your league.

Great news such as this is testimony to the work of our member clubs and management committee, who have worked tirelessly this season and have a number of exciting plans in place for the next!

It is our pleasure to administrate this league for you and we’re looking forward to the future. Thank you for your support as ever.

2015/16 Cup Finals02/05/16 04:11PM

A phenomenal effort from your RDYFL, 22 Cup Finals over a 4 week period,12 finals in 48 hours, 3 to go next weekend. A superb showcase of everything we do week in week out. Thank you to our hosts for the finals: Alfreton Town, Matlock Town, Tibshelf Community FC and South Normanton Athletic FC. Thank you and well done to all our clubs participating in the finals.

Finally, thanks must go to our tremendous volunteers for their work in making occasions like this happen. Special thank you to Andy Bagshaw, George Elliot, Lee Hodkin, Jonathan Hodkin, Tony Gascoyne, Andy Bush, John White, Oliver Couch and Glenn Smithurst.

It is our pleasure to run this league for you and we look forward to working with you in the future.
