The 2015/16 Primary and Secondary Cup rounds with take place as follows :
17/18th October 2015 - 1st Round Primary Cup
14/15th November 2015 - 2nd Round Primary Cup
6/7th February 2016 - 3rd Round Primary Cup / 1st Round Secondary Cup
5/6th March 2016 - 4th Round Primary Cup / 2nd Round Secondary Cup
Cup Finals will be held at the end of April and beginning of May 2016.
All teams are automatically entered into the Primary Cup and will play at least one Primary Cup Game, that is a game in the first round or in the second round if that team has drawn a bye in the first round. Teams losing that first game will be automatically be entered into the Secondary Cup where teams also play at least one game in either the first or the second round depending on whether they draw a bye. Both cups hold the same status and remain very competitive as inevitably teams with strong league positions do not always progress as well in the cup rounds or vice versa.

Survey Monkey - Have your say !
Following discussions at a recent committee management meeting, we have decided upon a number of areas that we would love to hear your suggestions on. Your contributions will allow us to refine our practice and develop the systems we are currently working with, in order to provide a more efficient service for players, parents and coaches.
The survey will be available until 31st December 2015. After this date, we will collate the results and publish these along with your comments on the website. These will then be discussed at management committee meetings and will hopefully influence our future practice.
Please make the most of this opportunity by logging onto: RDYFL Survey and voicing your opinion on your Rowsley and District Youth League.

Changes to the allocation of match Referees 2015/16
We are moving our referee allocation process onto the FA's Full-Time system. This should make it easier for allocations and ensure there are fewer clashes with referees. In order to find your referee simply click the fixture from within the RDYFL website and the fixture with referee allocation (shown bottom left) will be shown. Then go back to the yellow menu League/Referees Directory on the RDYFL website to find that Referees contact details.
Using full time will allow us to allocate referees for multiple weeks at a time which makes it easier to rearrange should a particular allocation fall through. It also allows for planning closed dates should particular referees require a week off and cannot be allocated a game.
I appreciate at first this may be a little tricky and no doubt some issues will arise from the new method, however as youth football moves into the technological era and we incorporate the Whole Game System into our running of the RDYFL, this should eventually make things easier. My thanks go to Andy Bagshaw, Glenn Smithurst and Sean Newton for their work on this.
As always, I welcome your feedback and support,
Thank you as ever,
