Brilliant effort from all the boys today to record the first win over Carr Vale 6-2 in nearly two seasons of trying. It goes to show what can be achieved if all the players work together and get stuck-in and have a good go. All the players and the manager Pete deserve to feel very proud today, it is not easy to keep going when you lose week after week. If today's standards can be maintained there is no reason why another win can't be obtained by the end of the season.

PS Congratulations to the referee today who we have had twice now and I think is very good. He is prepared to give free-kicks when our skilful players are pushed, pulled and fouled, which has not been the case in all matches.
